I'd rather make you think than tell you what to think.

I'm Dr. Alžběta Solarczyk Krausová. I've spent more than twenty years working where law, technology and ethics meet, and the same question has run through all of it: where does the machine end, and where does the person begin?

I've helped write the rules. I co-authored the National AI Strategy of the Czech Republic, served on the European Commission's Expert Group on Liability and New Technologies, worked within the OECD's ONE AI network, and contributed as a Czech expert to the UNESCO recommendation on the ethics of AI.

But rules are the easy part. The hard part happens at 9:40 on a Tuesday morning, when a system hands someone an answer and they have to decide whether to trust it. That moment isn't a compliance question. It's a question of judgment – and it is what I build my keynotes, my workshops and the AI Officer Academy around.
